FIFA has announced the eight seeded teams for the 1998 World Cup. Each team will play in a different group at France ’98. France, the host, will be in Group C, while defending champion Brazil will play in Group A. The other seeded teams are: Germany, Argentina, Spain, Italy, Netherlands and Romania. The draw itself will take place at 1:00 (ET) on Dec. 4 and will be shown live on both ESPN2 and Univision.
