June 22 in Gwangju 2:30 a.m. ET Quarterfinals: SOUTH KOREA vs. SPAIN (TV: Live, Univision, ESPN2 2:30 am ET; Tape, Telefutura, noon ET/PT). South Korea, which had not won a World Cup game in 14 tries entering 2002 finals, is the favorite to be beat Spain. With the its tremendous fan support, fitness level and strong midfield play, Korea could run Spain into the ground as it did Italy in the round of 16. Spain played a strong first half against Ireland but was lucky to hang on for a shootout victory. It's expected to be without star Raul, who's suffering from a groin strain.
