U.S. World Cup oppenent South Korea has named its 23-man roster for this summer's finals. Coach Guus Hiddink's list includes 16 Korean League, five Japan-based and two European-based players. The squad averages 27.1 years of age, up a 18 months from its France '98 squad. The 23 convene tomorrow for camp in Seogwipo. Final warmup games are against Scotland (May 16), England (May 21) and France (May 26). Nine of the players have World Cup experience, including all-time cap leader (124) Hong Myung Bo, who will set an Asian record by appearing in his fourth straight World Cup. “I know notching our first win in a World Cup and reaching the round of 16 is the entire nation's longtime cherished dream,” said Hong. “And it's the biggest dream of my own career.
