U.S. captain Claudio Reyna limped off with a strained hamstring in the 16th minute of the USAs 1-0 loss to Morocco on Tuesday in Nashville, Tenn.

Reyna, making his first U.S. appearance of 2006, played in only 22 of Manchester Citys 38 Premier League games during the past season because of a broken ankle and a shoulder injury.

Reyna will undergo on MRI to diagnose the severity of the hamstring injury.

"I stretched out for a ball, and just to be cautionary I came out," he said. "It is close to the [World cup]games, so obviously it is not the best timing. But I'm hoping I've gotten away with something very minor. I'm optimistically thinking that is not going to be something long term."

John O'Brien, another key U.S. midfielder with health concerns, played the first 45 minutes.

The World Cup-bound Americans are winless in their last three games, having lost at Germany, 4-1, in March before tying Jamaica, 1-1, in April.

Mohamed Madihi scored the winner in the 90th minute, chipping the ball over Kasey Keller at close range after receiving a pass from Bouchaib El Moubarki, who had beaten U.S. back Steve Cherundolo.
