Both Manchester United and Chelsea got scares before winning on Saturday and remain separated by six points at the top of the English Premier League.
United was trailing 1-0 at halftime against Blackburn Rovers before goals from Paul Scholes, Michael Carrick, Park Ji-Sung and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sealed a 4-1 win.
Chelsea kicked off later on Saturday and looked to have virtually handed the title to United when it was tied with last-place Watford in stoppage time. But striker Salomon Kalou then headed to give the Blues a 1-0 win and keep them alive.
In the battle for third place, Liverpool crushed Arsenal, 4-1, thanks to Peter Crouch's hat trick.
