Brandi Chastain's header knocked Atlanta from the ranks of unbeaten teams, and Dagny Mellgren's 25th WUSA goal lifted Boston into a first-place tie with idle Washington in action on Saturday.

A look at Saturday's games:

San Jose 1 Atlanta 0: Chastain headed home a Sissi free kick in the 69th minute to lift the CyberRays (2-2-0, 6 points) past the Beat (2-1-1, 7 points) before 7,328 at Herndon Stadium.

Atlanta has scored just once in its past two games after scoring 11 in wins over New York and Boston the first two weeks of the season.

Boston 1 San Diego 1: Mellgren gave the Breakers (3-1-1, 10 points) a fourth-minute lead, and they held on for a draw in the nightcap of an MLS-WUSA doubleheader before 13,722 at Gillette Stadium.

The draw pulled Boston into a deadheat with idle Washington (3-0-1, 10 points) atop the WUSA standings.

Mellgren headed in a cross from Maren Meinert to put the Breakers ahead. Julie Fleeting's header from a Zhang Ouying cross in the 62nd minute pulled the Spirit (2-1-1, 7 points) even.

New York 5 Philadelphia 4: Krista Davey's stoppage-time goal lifted the Power (2-3-0, 6 points) to its second successive win in a thriller before 8,095 at Villanova Stadium.

Davey, attacking from the right flank, cut inside past two defenders and rifled home a shot from 18 yards past diving goalkeeper Melissa Moore.

Christie Welsh's second goal of the game, in the 85th minute, erased a 4-3 Charge advantage. The Power overcame four deficits during the match.

Marinette Pichon and Stacey Tullock each had a goal and an assist for Philadelphia (0-3-0, 0 points).
