Officials of the Women's United Soccer Association called a teleconference for 4 pm ET Monday at which time they were expected to announce that the three-year league has suspended operations.
The teleconference with President/CEO Lynn Morgan and Founder/Chairman John Hendricks follows the reported decision made today by the league's Board of Governors to suspend operations just five days before the opening game of the Women's World Cup.
